Information Systems/Technology is generally looked at being very good at supplying immediate information and in large amounts on demand. Often this information is culled after the fact and so many people are so busy consuming information that not much thought gets into capturing it. This semester has been extraordinary to say the least. This is your opportunity to document your experience, your thoughts, your feelings, for yourself, for others, and for posterity.

 PUT TOGETHER a visual such as a powerpoint, or a video file,  or other program, iMovie, 1 second everyday that illustrates the following:

 PART C (20 points)

ALSO PUT TOGETHER/INCLUDE a written statement that provides context for the visual that will help other understand your message.  This statement could also include your thoughts about your experiences, or things that you noticed and anything that captures the essence of this semester.

FOR SUBMISSION - be certain to name your files with YOUR_LAST_NAME_TIME_CAPSULE_EXAM. also be prepared to present your visual to the class during the final exam.

ITMG 100 FINAL PROJECT TIME CAPSULE GRADING CRITERIA

The specific grading criteria (measured by likert scale 1- 7 with 7 being highest) for each category are

Graphic (the story)

·        Content/Clarity/Completeness (how well the graphic covers all the 8 different requested item areas, in depth and details)

·        Attractiveness/Novelty/creativity (originality of thought)

·        Helpfulness/Insight (graphic aids understanding/presenting of the data/easy to learn and remember)

·        Organization (content well organized/ability of graphics to reinforce that all items were addressed to audience)

 

Analysis (the written or background)

·        Completeness (degree to which the statement answers/describes the context of the visual, the background, experiences)

·        Depth (sophistication of the analysis)

·        Grammar and spelling

 

Presentation

·        This presentation kept my attention well.

 

Your entry will be seriously discounted in points if…
