USD PARKING AND COMMUTE SURVEY

Take the data (UPDATED) from the transit survey responses and create a report that illustrates the results to some of the questions below. To begin you will want to look at the actual transit survey page https://usd.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_b8i4PPANElZpect  as well as the dataset. Some of the questions that this instrument was trying to find out could include:

What was the overall average time it took to get from one class to another?
What was the overall average time it took to get from one specific building/class to another building/class?
What was the longest time it took to go from one building/class to another?
What was the shortest time it took to go from one building/class to another?
Where there any common themes (from the comments) that caused any delays in transit time?

The dataset is not very large so you may not be able to find much data to determine patterns between different classes (either from ones where students leave late or arrive late). You might be able to make a determination if there are gender differences in transit times.

To answer these questions you will first need to clean up the dataset but first making a copy of the original data and placing it into a new worksheet. You will also want to make a third worksheet that contains all of the rows of data removed. I have already sent you one copy of the data set and I am attaching an updated file that contains about 50 more record files.
UPDATED: THE DATA IS THE FILE ON THE TOP THIS PAGE ......OR ..HERE ...   Take the data (UPDATED)

In terms of answering the questions you can choose through several methods to find the answers. One possibility is to turn the datasheet into a table within excel and then using table sort/filter tools to find the answers. A second possibility would be to turn the data into a pivot table and then use pivot table tools to find the answers. The third possibility would be to import the excel data into access and use query tools to find the answers.

Your deliverable for PART THREE will be in the form of tables and charts. Perhaps, the best representation will be in the form of an infographic.
